Line 6 Helix HX Stomp DC socket power supply adapter 2.1mm to 2.5mm converter

Description

This is a 2.1mm to 2.5mm DC converter or power supply adapter to allow a Line 6 Helix HX Stomp to be used with a more standard ‘Boss’ style power adapter, allowing users to power the Helix from isolated board mounted power supplies, provided the supply has the appropriate current capability to power the unit.

Most FX pedals use a DC socket with a 2.1mm pin and a 5.5mm barrel. Most pedals use a centre negative polarity.  The HX Stomp does use a centre negative polarity, however it uses a socket with a 2.5mm pin, meaning that a standard plug won’t fit it.

The adapter takes a female 2.1×5.5mm socket (normal type) and converts it into a male 2.5×5.5mm plug (HX Stomp type). There are straight and right angle 2.1mm to 2.5mm DC converter versions available.

Always make sure that the power supply you’re using is suitable for the Helix.

The barrel length of the plug end is 9.5mm. The socket will accept up to 11mm.
